Regional Operational Programme for the Silesia Voivodeship 2014-2020
The Regional Operational Programme for the Silesian Voivodeship 2014-2020 (ROP for the Silesian Voivodeship 2014-2020) implements the vision of the region's development set out in the Silesian Voivodeship Development Strategy "Silesian 2020+", adopted by the Regional Council of the Silesian Voivodeship on 1 July 2013, and is one of the most important instruments of regional policy. It is also a tool for the implementation of the Partnership Agreement, i.e. the document defining the intervention strategy of European funds under three EU policies, i.e. the Cohesion Policy, the Common Agricultural Policy and the Common Fisheries Policy in Poland in the period 2014 - 2020, and shows full compliance with it. The WSL ROP 2014 - 2020, together with the National Operational Programmes and the Partnership Agreement, creates a coherent system of strategic and programming documents within the new financial perspective. The objectives of the Programme are also in line with the vision of development of the European Union included in the Strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth - Europe2020.

Goal:The project concerns the implementation of integrated ICT solutions, which will allow support for the activities of all medical entities involved in the comprehensive process of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and monitoring of a patient's condition outside medical facilities, while also providing tools to streamline and facilitate medical consultations and diagnosis on the basis of fully accessible electronic medical records. The numerous functionalities that will be provided by the eCareMed Platform will allow the design and implementation of many new organisational, decision-making and diagnostic processes through modern ICT solutions. The units included in the eCareMed project, depending on their profile, will perform tasks including medical teleconsultation, telemonitoring and telerehabilitation. All three components will be able to function in parallel or individually in the areas of cardiology, neurology and oncology.
