Centre for Technology Transfer is a university-wide unit supporting scientists at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice in the field of commercialization and knowledge transfer to the economy. Centre connects the world of science and the world of business and builds a network of business connections at the regional, national and international levels.
Centre helps to protect the intellectual property of the University's academic staff and provides full support in the patent process.
The primary tasks of the Centre include administration and coordination in the process of implementing research, research and development projects and development programs, such as The Industrial PhD Programme and The Knowledge Education Development Programme.
