The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced the call for applications for the Mieczyslaw BEKKER Program, which aims to support postdoctoral fellows, researchers and academic teachers from Polish institutions of science and higher education in their pursuit of scientific excellence by financing trips to recognized research and academic centers around the world.
Within the framework of the aforementioned Program, there is an opportunity to carry out a postdoctoral internship or implement a part of doctoral training, carry out research work together with outstanding scientists from abroad, acquire materials for scientific work and establish long-term relations with foreign scientific teams.
Applicants for participation in the program may be:
- PhD students,
- Research and research and teaching staff,
- Young Scientists,
- Experienced Researchers.
Host units can be scientific or academic centers around the world.
The duration of the project is from 3 to 24 months - in the case of a Young Scientist or from 3 to 12 months - in the case of other Applicants.
Trips will take place on March 1, 2024 at the earliest and October 1, 2024 at the latest.
Applications must be submitted only in electronic form in the Agency's ICT System by May 31, 2023.
