The Foundation for Polish Science announces a call for applications for the Proof of Concept (PoC) program, whose activity is addressed to female scientists working in Polish research organizations who want to verify the implementation potential of their research results.
The purpose of the Proof of Concept activity is:
- to enable the implementation of R&D work to verify the research hypothesis and the implementation potential of the research results;
- To improve the skills of young researchers in conducting research of economic importance and develop their scientific careers;
- developing cooperation between science and business
Funding may be obtained for research and development work aimed at verifying the research hypothesis set forth in the application. The result of the conducted research should be progress on the path leading to the commercialization of the project. Within the framework of the measure, it is possible to implement projects in the formula of effective cooperation with an enterprise, while financial support is provided only to the research organization .
The thematic scope of projects that can receive funding is not limited to individual fields of science, but refers to the priorities included in the list of National Smart Specializations.
One project can receive funding of a maximum of PLN 700 thousand. Funds are awarded through a competition for a maximum of 12 months.

The call is open until September 7, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. Applications should be submitted electronically via the FNP's electronic system at: https://wnioski2023.fnp.org.pl.
