Public consultation has been launched on the draft Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SIRA) for the proposed European Rare Diseases Partnership.
We encourage to participate in the consultations.
The Rare Diseases Partnership's ambition is to support solutions to improve the health and well-being of the 30 million people living with rare diseases in Europe through better prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
The initiative will foster alignment and complementarity between regional, national and European research and innovation programmes, seeking synergies and combining funding, in-kind contributions and infrastructure to build on international research initiatives focusing on rare diseases.
Defining SIRA is critical as it enables the partnership's mission, vision and values to be brought together and presented, as well as long-term goals and roadmaps.
You can take part in the consultations until June 9, 2023. More information about the planned initiative is available on the website of the European Commission.
