Abstracts for the next edition of Winter Case Cup 2024 can be submitted only until February 25. The event will be held March 15-17 at the Miziowa Hall in the Silesian Beskids. The annual student conference combines the expansion of medical knowledge through presentations of clinical cases, so-called "case reports," with winter sports. The SUM Student Scientific Society is responsible for organizing the event. Honorary patronage of the event was assumed by the SUM Rector, Prof. Tomasz Szczepanski, MD.
Plenary sessions are planned for the 2024 Winter Case Cup, which will focus on internal medicine, surgical specialties and pediatrics (the organizer reserves the right to change the topics of the sessions with the possibility of adjusting them to the submitted papers). As in previous years, the scientific sessions will be held in the afternoon so that in the morning each of the participants of the event can take advantage of the qualities of the Żywiec Beskid. The event program also includes mountain medicine workshops and lectures on the borderline between law and medicine.
Key dates:
February 25, 2024 – Closing of registration of abstracts/active participants
March 2, 2024 – Closing of registration of passive participants
March 3, 2024 – Time for payment
The conference fee is PLN 390 and includes:
- conference package
- participation in the Conference,
- presentation of the paper during the Competition Sessions,
- accommodation at Hala Miziowa,
- 2 x breakfast
- 2 x dinner
After exhaustion of stationary places, participation without accommodation and meals is allowed. The participant pays a reduced conference fee of 100 PLN.
