Welcoming English-speaking students

A ceremony welcoming new students of the English-language programme in the A3 hall of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the SUM in Katowice was held. The ceremony was attended by newly admitted students and representatives of the Student Government, IFMSA and STN. During the meeting, the students had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the University, the conditions of studying, the opportunities offered by the University and the city of Katowice, and above all to get to know the staff of the WNMK Dean's Offices and the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze who take care of them, as well as the Dean's Authorities. We are very pleased to be able to spend the coming years together with our students passing on medical knowledge. The English-language programme is not only an excellent opportunity for foreign students to acquire medical knowledge and the coveted title of doctor, but also a chance to get to know our country. And for us, it provides the opportunity to work in a truly multinational and multicultural team.
