The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Sosnowiec of the Silesian Medical University in Katowice invites students from grades I, II and III of secondary schools to participate in the High School Summer School - "Holidays at the Farm". Recruitment takes place electronically until July 2, 2023.
"Vacation at FARMA 2023" is an excellent opportunity to see what it's like to study at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Sosnowiec, Poland, and expand your knowledge of the sciences. Participants will also learn about modern research techniques used in classes by students majoring in pharmacy, medical analytics, medical biotechnology and cosmetology.

Summer High School - VACATION WITH HEALTH, Department of Public Health in Bytom, Silesian Medical University in Katowice (sum.edu.pl)
All interested high school students and teachers are invited to open lectures and laboratory classes organized as part of the "It's cool in SUM" Vacation University. This project was created for people who are interested in the work of a doctor, nurse, laboratory analyst or pharmacist. As part of the Summer University, students will learn about, among other things, modern molecular techniques, including DNA isolation and also take a first aid course combined with a tour of the SUM Center for Medical Didactics and Simulation.
The open lectures will be held on June 21 and 22 in the afternoon, from 12:00 to 16:00, in the A3 Auditorium of the Silesian Medical University in Katowice at 18 Medyków Street, Katowice-Ligota (SUM Campus). For those willing not able to attend the meeting in person, live coverage of the event will be made available on the YouTube channel of the Silesian Medical University in Katowice.
In addition, laboratory workshops conducted by SUM Biochemistry Department staff will be held in the weeks of June 26-30 (1st round) and July 3-7 (2nd round).
