The third edition of the ‘Practical Emergency Medicine’ course, attended by students of our University, is now behind us. Thanks to exercises under the guidance of eminent specialists, the participants had the opportunity to acquire practical skills in, among other things, basic and advanced resuscitation procedures, as well as valuable communication and team cooperation skills in realistic conditions. - ‘The course was an extremely valuable experience for us, which enabled us to understand the difficulties and requirements of working with patients in life and health emergencies, especially in demanding mountain conditions,’ say the course participants.
It is worth noting that the course was conducted by Dr Mateusz Majewski, MD, from the Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Katowice, Poland.
