On behalf of the SUM Student Government, we present the first edition of the winter trip entitled "Let it SUM!". On February 17, 2024, our students will go to the village of Murzasichle in Podhale, located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains close to the slopes and mountain trails. As part of the 4-day trip, its participants will be able to, among other things, learn to ski, take part in a sleigh ride and relax in the thermal baths. The event will also include a number of activities, including ballroom dancing workshops and karaoke.
People can sign up for the trip starting Wednesday, December 27, 2023. The number of places is limited:

NOTE: The price does not include ski passes and equipment rental and thermal baths ( we will arrange group purchase of passes at a favorable price on the spot), as well as bus transportation.

1. What is the estimated cost of the coach?
The cost depends on the number of people willing to use public transportation.We are doing our best to make the amount no higher than 150 PLN per person.
2. I am not a student of the Silesian Medical University in Katowice, but my friends who are going on the trip are. Can I go with them?
Yes, but priority of enrollment is given to SUM students. Moreover, the price for a person from outside our University is 770 PLN.
3. How will I find out if I have successfully signed up for the trip?
Up to 10 days after signing up you will receive an email confirming your participation in the event.
4. I am not a skier. Is this trip for me?
Sure! All people who want to have a good time are welcome to attend the camp. If you don't want to try your hand at the slopes, many other attractions await you, including a ballroom dance course, participation in a sleigh ride, games and activities.
5. I failed to qualify for the trip. What in this situation?
You will be on the reserve list. If someone does not pay for the trip or resigns by the deadline, the next people on the reserve list will get a chance to participate in our camp.
6. How much time do I have to make the payment?
5 business days after receiving the email about qualifying for the camp.
