Polish-Indian cooperation

Joydeep Roy, Representative of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Kolkata, India visit Silesian Medical University in Katowice, where he met with Prof. Dr. Edward Wylęgała, Vice Rector for Development and Technology Transfer of SUM.

The meeting was an ideal opportunity to present the scientific and didactic offer of the various departments of the Silesian Medical University in Katowice. Representatives of SUM and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Kolkata also discussed the exchange of teaching staff and students, as well as conducting joint scientific research and research projects. They also discussed measures to increase the number of candidates from India. It is the citizens of this country, in addition to Nigeria and Norway, who choose the Silesian Medical University in Katowice most often among all English-speaking students.
