The Silesian Medical Chamber and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Sosnowiec invite you to a prevention and education conference entitled. “Cancer prevention as a recipe for health” The conference is organized as part of the ‘Pink October’ campaign, a worldwide initiative dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer and promoting prevention of the disease. The public is invited to lectures, meetings with doctors and free preventive examinations on October 26 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, at 8 Jedności Street in Sosnowiec.
During the conference, participants will have the opportunity to:
- benefit from free ultrasound examinations of the breast and testicles ,
- listen to lectures and participate in consultations with prominent experts in the field of urology, gynecology and sexology,
- take part in workshops on first aid, stress reduction, yoga and “slavica dance”,
- benefit from nutritional advice, aromatherapy and phytotherapy,
- visit the Farmakobus,
- and take advantage of professional brafitting.

October has been recognized worldwide as Breast Cancer Awareness Month for many years. As part of the campaign, October 15 marks European Breast Cancer Day, symbolized by the pink ribbon.
