- This is not another 3D atlas, but a tool containing modelled high-resolution scans of real preparations using artificial intelligence, or more precisely deep learning.
You can see all the structures incredibly accurately, and the full possibility of interaction allows you to set up the preparation model in any way you like,’ explains Przemysław Jędrusik, head of the Centre for Remote Learning and Educational Effects Analysis.
Learning anatomy enters a completely different dimension, where the student has access to a preparation from any location, from any device, thanks to which they can repeat and consolidate their knowledge on their own.
We are expanding the database of specimens with new models, divided according to the curriculum of the subject Anatomy, not only for the faculties of medical sciences, but also health sciences.
The tool, which was created in the Department of Correct Anatomy of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice, headed by Professor Grzegorz Bajor, is available to every student, doctoral student and teacher at our University.
Combining mathematics, computer science, physics and medicine, allows us to create fantastic tools to support the educational process.
