Sixth-year medical and dental students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze celebrated the end of their studies by partying at the Medic's Ball with more than 160 participants. The event was held on October 5 in Piekary Slaskie.
Speakers at the event included the year's starost Dawid Hochuł, who thanked his colleagues for the past years of study. Graduates of the medical faculty of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze also enjoyed themselves at the Medical Ball in July. The event was attended by representatives of the dean's authorities: Professor Alicja Grzanka, MD, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze; Joanna Zywiec, MD, PhD, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze; and Professor Małgorzata Skucha-Nowak, MD, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze.
And on October 26, the day after the graduation ceremony, the Medical Scientist's Ball of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice will be held. Also ahead is the Half-Medicine Ball, which is scheduled for December 7 this year.
The Medical Scientist's Ball and the Half-Medic's Ball are among the most popular customs at the Silesian Medical University in Katowice. Each of the students and graduates celebrates an important stage in their lives, rejoicing in their academic achievements to date and remembering the best moments.
