We are pleased to announce that Grzegorz K. Jakubiak, MD (Department of Pharmacology, Zabrze) participated in the 72nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. The congress was held from 1-4 August this year in Perth (Western Australia). During the congress, Dr Jakubiak presented four papers, which were written while he was still active in the Department of Internal Medicine, Angiology and Physical Medicine, located within the structures of the Specialist Hospital No. 2 in Bytom, partly in collaboration with dr. Monika Starzak, Prof. Grzegorz Cieślar, MD, PhD, and Prof. Agata Stanek, MD, PhD.
