Before the summer vacations, the last free FAST medical simulation ultrasound courses will be held under the project "Postgraduate training of doctors - development of practical training with the use of SUM medical simulation techniques".
Are you a doctor or a resident and want to:
- acquire the knowledge and skills to operate an ultrasound machine within a trauma center/hospital emergency department in patients after multi-organ trauma;
- more efficiently assess cardiovascular fitness in the unconscious patient and after multi-organ trauma;
- diagnose and respond appropriately in pathological conditions (pericardiocentesis training), which gives the advantage of training on a simulator, relative to a healthy real patient;
- gain knowledge regarding surgical management depending on the severity of bleeding from parenchymal organs
you are welcome to attend the course on one of the dates: April 3, 2023 / April 5, 2023 / April 12, 2023 / May 8, 2023 / June 7, 2023.
The course takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the SUM Center for Medical Didactics and Simulation, 8b Medyków Street, Katowice, Poland.

The courses are addressed to physicians from all over Poland, at different stages of advancement with the possibility of providing accommodation for participants commuting more than 50 km.
