We would like to inform you that the Polish Academy of Sciences has begun elections to 78 Scientific Committees for the next term. Members of the Committees, in addition to members of the Academy, are distinguished Scientists of a given discipline representing, among others, universities.
Registration of election participants began on July 5 and will continue until October 6, 2023. The election lists will be announced on October 17, while the elections themselves will be held from October 18 - 31, 2023. The results are scheduled to be announced on November 20, 2023.
Eligible to vote are persons holding a postdoctoral or professorial degree. Each person eligible to vote registers and declares his or her active or passive right to vote in conjunction with at most two scientific committees.
Elections to PAN scientific committees will be conducted using the Electronic Election System of the Polish Academy of Sciences (ESWPAN). The rules of procedure and election schedule can be found on the PAN homepage under Scientific Committees/Elections in the top menu at: https://pan.pl/.
