#Intensive_after_hours invites you
We invite all interested students of our University to the seventh meeting of the #Intensive_after_hours series entitled. "Drip, drip, drip" addressing in a practical way the issue of fluid therapy in emergencies, in anaesthesiology and intensive care. The meeting will be held on 22.11.2023 from 15:30 at the Silesian Centre for Heart Diseases in Zabrze (Prof. Z. Religa auditorium), organised by the SKN at the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine and coordinated by Prof. Łukasz Krzych, Head of the Department and Supervisor of the SKN.
Intravenous fluid therapy remains one of the most common, but still underestimated in adverse effects, therapeutic interventions in hospitals. Appropriate fluid therapy, in the context of fluid quality and quantity, brings the treatment team closer to achieving therapeutic goals.
The lectures of the #Intensive_after_hours series are primarily aimed at medical, paramedic and nursing students, but practising medics are sure to benefit as well. All are welcome and encouraged to subscribe to the #Intensive_after_hours profile on social media to keep up to date with the interesting scientific activities of this scientific initiative.
