We are pleased to announce that Dr Dorota Łyko, M.D., has been qualified for the prestigious Clinical Research Group programme.
Dr Łyko is currently working in the Department of General, Vascular and Angiological Surgery, WNMK, where she can further develop her scientific interests.
She is passionate about surgery, teaching and research. She has been affiliated with the Silesian Medical University since the beginning of her studies, where she took her first scientific steps in the Student Scientific Society and defended her Doctor of Medical Sciences degree in 2018. She is a co-author of many nationwide and international scientific papers and supervisor of numerous student theses. She has authored numerous presentations nationally and internationally, where she strives to bridge the worlds of dentistry and medical faculty. In 2023, she was awarded the bronze medal of the President of the Republic of Poland.
Privately, she is a crazy, fulfilled mum to Ola and Marysia, with whom she travels all over the world.
