Clinical trial for women with mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes

Department of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Oncological Gynecology of the University Clinical Center of prof. Kornel Gibiński Medical University of Silesia in Katowice - as one of three centers in Poland - has launched an international clinical trial in which instead of removing the ovaries and fallopian tubes, only the fallopian tubes are removed laparoscopically.
