I would like to kindly inform you that the Ministry of Climate and Environment has announced the call for applications for the "Climate Man of the Year" Competition in the Young Scientist category, which aims to honour young scientists for their scientific achievements in the form of scientific publications or completed scientific research in the field of climate protection, climate change mitigation or climate change mitigation and adaptation to climate change. The competition is open to adults residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland who are under 35 years of age.
Applications will be evaluated, among others, in terms of the practical application of research results, originality of scientific publications, participation in the work of research teams, including international ones, or diversity of methods and tools used in conducting the research.
The winner will be awarded the title "Climate Man of the Year" and a cash prize of PLN 30,000. In the event of an exceptionally high level of the competition, up to two distinctions will be awarded with a prize of PLN 10,000.
Competition applications should be submitted by 18 September 2023 by e-mail to: klimatyczny.czlowiek.roku@klimat.gov.pl or by post or in person to the address of the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
