The best Branch President of the term 2022/2023 went to Zuzanna Niemiec, a sixth-year medical student at the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Zabrze. In turn, the title of the best Branch Secretary of the term 2022/2023 went to Oliwia Auguścik, a fifth-year medical student of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice.
It is worth noting that SUM students affiliated with the International Medical Students' Association IFMSA-Poland Branch Silesia received nominations in as many as five categories:
• Branch President_ka – Zuzanna Niemiec
• Vice President_of_the_Branch_of_Human_Resources (VPM LC) – Michal Wadon (5th year, medical faculty at WNMK)
• Secretary_yni of the Branch – liwia Auguścik
• Local_a_coordinator_a for Human Rights and Peace (LORP) – Zuzanna Gajda (6th year, medical direction WNMK)
• Branch Review Committee – Agnieszka Ronczoszek (6th year, medical faculty WNMZ), Bartłomiej Galuszka (6th year, medical faculty WNMZ), Patrycja Rozwadowska (SUM graduate).
The 51st Delegate Assembly of the International Association of Medical Students IFMSA-Poland was held in early December. Over the course of several days, medical students from all over Poland had the opportunity to participate in numerous panel discussions and a plenary session. The main purpose of the event was to broaden the horizons of the members and members of the Association, as well as to contribute to its development.
