On 10 July 2024, His Magnificence Rector Prof. Tomasz Szczepański, MD, signed an international cooperation agreement with one of the largest private universities in South Korea - Chosun University.
The cooperation envisages, among other things, joint activities in the area of joint scientific research, joint educational programmes, student and academic teacher exchange.
The Rector also met with the main management of the Hudens BIO company in Gwangju, with a view to signing a cooperation agreement on the development of new medical technologies, based on the scientific activity of our researchers, including Tadeusz Morawiec, MD, Prof. SUM - Head of the Chair and Department of Dental Surgery.
There was also a meeting with the Polish Ambassador in Seoul - Prof. Piotr Ostaszewski, during which cooperation with other universities in South Korea was discussed.
His Magnificence was accompanied on the trip by Prof. Katarzyna Mizia-Stec, MD, PhD - Vice-Chancellor for Science and International Cooperation, Prof. Jerzy Stojko, MD, PhD - Vice-Chancellor for Students and Student Affairs, Tadeusz Morawiec, MD, Prof. SUM, Mariusz Miśkiewicz, M.Sc. - Head of the Centre for Science and International Cooperation.
