On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Silesian Medical University, the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk, PhD, presented a medal to the Rector of SUM, Professor Tomasz Szczepański, PhD, as a token of appreciation for his achievements to date, his persistent passionate scientific and didactic work, and his contribution to the development of Polish science.
The inauguration of the Academic Year, is a unique moment that opens a new page in the history of every university. May this one, written in the anniversary year, bring success, satisfaction and many achievements, both scientific and didactic, setting the course for the development of the Silesian Medical University for generations to come," stressed the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology.
