Second-degree studies in the area of health risk management are addressed to graduates of the first degree. During the second-degree program a graduate of in the field of health risk management acquires the extended, interdisciplinary knowledge of social and medical sciences. Such a focus offers the graduates the necessary tools to participate effectively in solving of diverse health problems.
A graduate of the health risk management faculty will be familiar with the risk management systems and IT infrastructure to collect, process and analyze the epidemiological and environmental data. A graduate will be able to point out and put into practice the methods for identifying the health risk factors, as well as point out and apply methods for evaluation of the risk effecting from exposure of populations to pollutants commonly occurring in the environment. The graduate will be able to apply the legal tools provided and implemented to control and monitor the health security of a society. The knowledge acquired will enable conducting of health risk analysis for specific social groups (children, adults, elderly) based on the environmental conditions of exposure. The student are offered a choice of two specializations:
· health risk management,
· environmental health and prevention of environmentally dependent diseases.
